Initially, the business was established with Portugal's main trading partners, Brazil and England. It was purchased by Fonsecca in 1966 and used as a grape source since they own two beautiful quintas in prime locations of the Douro. In 1987 a partnership of Fonsecca, Taylor and Romariz was established. The viticulturists for Fonsecca grow the grapes and Taylor vinifies and bottles the wines.</font><font face="Georgia" color="#800080" style="background-color: rgb(255,255,255); "> A carefully selected blend of seven to nine year old Tawny Ports are used for "Reserva Latina". The port was created for the Tawny loving Brazilian markets, Reserve of the Latin hence the name "Reserva Latina".
